I am working on updating my resume and would like to include the Navy for work experience. I am BDCP and haven't served yet because I am still in college. Has anyone else included the Navy on their resume? I'm sort of at a loss as to what I should put for my job description and accomplishments. Any suggestions would be welcome!

Please clarify. You mean you want to use your BDCP time on your Resume for a non-Navy job now...before you go into the Navy?

i'm applying for summer research in a science field and I want to include it under employment.

Shannon, I wouldn't chalk BDCP up to work experience. The reason being is that it entails no work. Simply stating that you are Active Reserve Navy should be enough. Going to college is considered your full time job. I would somehow convey the level of competitiveness of the BDCP program, and how earning it was one of your most proud accomplishments (if this is true of course).
