wow this is incredible...great job by the doctor and the surgery team, the medevac crew and everyone else involved...those guys definitely earn the sullenberger brass balls award in my book!

Damn...That's crazy. Makes me proud.

I don't know the anatomy of an RPG, but it looked as if the filler and body had been snapped off before it entered his body leaving only the blasting cap. I'm not at all trying to downplay that these guys removed a huge piece of metal from this guys body, and perhaps I'm wrong, but knowing that the big boom is out of the equation must have made it a little less terrifying for people like the guy holding the camera and the 10 other people in the room. Then again, you can google blasting cap to see that the victim wasn't exactly out of the woods.
