Run the PT Test before applying?

I am applying for SNA (again) and this time my recuiter told me that I didn't need to run the PT unless I was Pro Rec. When I was selected before (BDCP), I ran the PT before I sent my application package in. Is it better to run the test before or after. Thoughts??

I don't believe that they consider the PT scores for the pro-rec. I did mine before I was pro-rec'ed, but they weren't sent in at that time, just recorded and filed by my recruiter.

I only had to complete the PRT after receiving my pro-rec. Does BDCP selection work the same way, with a pro-rec and then final select, or is it all at once? That may be the difference.
