MOSCOW - A top Russian general said Friday that Poland's agreement to accept a U.S. missile interceptor base exposes the ex-communist nation to attack, possibly by nuclear weapons, the Interfax news agency reported.

Poor wording. Read it again. I think what they're saying there is that IF they base an ABM system there, if the US and Russians were to go to war and it went nuclear, Poland would be struck as there is a US system there. I don't think they're saying "Put that there and we'll attack."

With everything going on these days who knows what Russia means or is going to do. Blackfive had an article about SS-21s being moved into Georgia. If that isn't a thinly veiled threat against interference I don't know what is.

haven't seen this anywhere else yet. But after scrolling through free and independt site A-4s posted, I found an excerpt that said the Russians captured a US soldier. Anyone else here anything like this in national media?
