I flew a charter down to KUIN two weeks ago, there are two single seat Mig-29's sitting on the ramp. One of the line guys took me over to a hanger that had a two seat Mig 29 in it. The story was that the guy with the single seaters took deliver of three two seaters and is stripping parts off the one I saw to get the other two airworthy. What struck me was how rough the aircraft construction seems compared to US fighters. Granted these were old airplanes, but still an impressive aircraft to get up close to.
