Where do I sign up?
For those of you who took the ASTB more than once, did your scores go up or down? From what I have read on this forum, it seems that most you who took the test a second time improved your scores. Is this the normal trend? I took form 4 last week and did not get qualifying scores. I am wondering if taking the test again with my experience from the last attempt and studying will assist me in achieving a passing score. My scores were 4/5/5 :(

I took the paper version a year ago........OAR was a 41. I took the new computerized test yesterday - OAR was a 50. My OAR was the only score that I needed to worry about because I'm applying for the supply program. Studying the astb gouge on this site and also looking at an SAT book helped me with the math. I got an asvab book to help with the mechanical. I didn't study for the verbal.

I took the original test the 1st time and got a 4/3/3. Took it two weeks ago and got a 6/6/6. Sweet.

I took the original paper test in 2001 when applying for BDCP: results were OAR:49, 4/4/4.

I took the ASTB again this morning (applying for OCS) and since it is the handy-dandy new computer delivery, I got my results immediately. OAR: 65, 7/6/6

In short, I improved my scores.
