Securing an Interview

Both my recruiter and I are having trouble contacting an active Supply Officer in the Washington DC area that would be willing to interview me for my OCS application. Any suggestions?

Beyond that, my application is 100% complete.

Call the Naval Academy to see if they have any there who will do your interview. Or, if you really feel motivated (or desperate), contact the supply depot down in Norfolk.

What paygrade do you need? NAVICP is in Philly, I'd think that place would be crawling with porkchops.

Two places to try...OPNAV N41 and DLA down at Fort Belvoir. Both are crawling with Chops.

Interview secured. Big thanks to Hey Joe for the contact!

Now, any interviewing tips anyone??

Dress nice, and prepare some questions. After all, this is as much your chance to interview the Navy and ask about supply life.

second interview went just as well. I think i'm going to resubmit:
LORs: O-3, O-4, O-6, current employer
interviews: O-4, O-5 (both supply and both went extremely well)

Hopefully the needs of the navy will shine upon me :icon_smil
