Service school vs correspondance course

The OCS application has a spot for service schools and another for correspondence courses. NSIPS just leads me to all my NKOs. Does anyone know what the difference is? I get blank stares in my command.

If you look on your Electronic Training Jacket all of the courses labeled as "SMF" should be what they're looking for with your service schools. I assume correspondence courses mean just that, but can't say for certain.
