You are totally correct, just trying to see how many of the current readers are applying as well as have some fun while we await the results of the current board. Besides how good a candidate can you be if you don't surf AW!! I've learnt more here than anywhere else.

Aspiring candidates aren't the only ones to surf Airwarriors. If you are particularly obnoxious, your staff might know you before you even show up.

If you can't tell weather you are irritating or not, here is a simple test. If people on AW have told you that you are annoying, you probably are. If you have managed to piss of somebody here, similar behavior is probably going to piss off one of your seniors somewhere down the road.

This isn't directed at anybody, just a friendly heads up. Also, I am not trying to dissuade you guys from posting questions about boards or stats or chances. Those questions are still pointless , but this is the right forum and the right thread.

OK, I get it. I know what you mean. I've seen some pretty interesting pieces of work on this board. You got the water walking, str8 A's for life, diety of Neptune himself guys and guys who if they would just work hard, study, and train their minds, they would be just good enough to be rejected from OCS/BDCP.

I agree that it is a stretch that everyone here is a perfect hopeful. One thing I always think about is where would I be if I didn't know that such a board existed. I've had a few situations where I would have totally screwed over my package, at the very least delay it, if I didn't have this site as a reference. MEDs, PFT prep, ASTB prep, the list runs right out the door.

Well, pdx explained it in one way...

I assure you, A4's never surfed this board when he was a candidate, and he turned out to be a "very good pilot."

Thanks Eddie for your insight. I'm sure the poster meant no disrespect to any candidate, especially to those that joined before the internet was developed. As always please keep up the always helpful and useful comments.
