Pro Rec'd SNA
Hello everyone,
I was just pro rec'd for sna last wednesday. however, after going through my physical at meps, i discovered i was red/green color blind. as everyone knows, any kind of vision imparment cannot be final select for pilot or nfo. my question is if i can switch paths to swo without having to go through the selection process again. any help would much apprectiated.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't color blindness disqualifying for unrestricted line (including SWO)? I had a buddy discover (after 4 or 5 normal flight physicals) that he was color blind at NAMI. He is now on his way to being a CEC officer.

I'd assume it'd be dq for SWO even since you need to be able to determine running lights (especially red/green ones).
