Okay, just curious if there are any sources that you go and look at on a daily basis as an officer. I usually check out bupers weekly for messages that are out, but are there any other places that you think people should be keeping up to date with?

It's not always easy to do with the 0600 briefs, but I try to peruse the Early Bird website daily (http://ebird.afis.mil/). A good compilation of defense-related news stories that is updated daily. Unfortunately, you can't access it without a ".mil" address.

Sure you can. You just need to put in your SSN, birthdate and last name, and you can log in from home to get it.

thanks for the links, although I think i'll likely stay away from sailorbob. Afterall, I'm not a SWO so I'll leave you all to your own devices
