42. They don't tell the recruiters that kind of info...I promise that decision is made WELL above their paygrade.

It's like Props/Jet/Helo Bubbas needed...Even the CO of XT-XX could care...as long as he's providing bodies to the fleet on a regular basis...he's doing his job. They pay civilians to figure that crap out.

You might think this stuff matters, and it makes you feel like you are "researching" something while waiting, but it doesn't matter. If you want to be a sup-O in the Navy, go for it. Who cares how many slots there are/were/will be available.
