Still waiting for OCS results...

I applied to SWO/Intel/Supply on June 18 and haven't heard back yet. My recruiter said they cancelled the remaining boards in FY2014 so I wouldn't hear back until late October. Now its January and I'm thinking there's something wrong.

However, on December 3, I heard that I didn't get selected for Supply. Still waiting for the others. Is this normal? My recruiter said we should hear real soon, which is exactly what he said at the end of October.

Has anyone else had to wait more than two or three months?

There was a SWO board at the beginning of October, so you should've heard regardless of the board's decision. Word is now that there will be another board sometime next month, whether that happens or not, we should know within the next few weeks based off past deadlines and notices.

Hmm ok. I'm just trying to figure out if I should be trying to go over my recruiters head at the risk of pissing him or anyone else off. Or if I should just be patient another month or two because if supply got my application, the others should have too.

Trying to move on with my life so this waiting is hard.

I know how you feel, and so do probably about 99 percent of people on this forum. but the best thing you can do is try and be patient, and wait it out. check these threads regularly for the most up to date information. that's all you really can do

given when you applied and your stats you were probably a "no" for all if your application was actually submitted in June.

That's difficult to hear, but I had a feeling. This is something that I really want to do and I know I'd be great at it. I slacked off in college, but I thought the OAR and my letters would help. I suppose I'll build that resume and apply again.

I don't understand why my recruiter would notify me about Supply but not the others. Any answer is better than none. He said I didn't get selected for Supply because I put it as my third choice and they won't give a spot away to someone who is expected to get picked for their first choice (SWO), but I don't have the faith to take him at his word.

Next SWO board should take place next month. SWO selectees back from last year won't be going to OCS until July at the earliest, so in the event you're selected it will be a while until you ship out.
