I've been studying a lot for the ASTB recently, and have been using @Jantzen_Wells 's ASTB simulator with a Thrustmaster T Flight HOTAS programmed to my Mac Air using the app Joystick Mapper. I've found that the throttle portion works very well but the stick is glitchy and can't seem to connect as smoothly and struggles to complete the cursor's movements in the game.
I know some people have found a lot of success with hooking up joysticks to their computers to play the sim game, and would appreciate any advice on this subject and how I can more accurately use the HOTAS so that I can be more prepared for the PBM. Any better programs, apps, or even throttles I should use?
thanks,
-TBM
