All (especially applicants),
When putting down your choices/designators for your package, do not put down programs that you have NO DESIRE TO SERVE IN. I cannot emphasize this enough, if you don't want to be a SWO, NFO, etc., DON'T PUT IT ON THE APPLICATION. Just like in life, plan A might backfire leaving you with plan B or C (if applicable) to move on with. Declining acceptance to an OCS program because you weren't selected for your first or second choice will only hurt your chances even greater should you choose to apply again. More importantly, you just screwed over some kid who might have worked his ass off to submit an application only to be declined because you took that spot from him. Think about it when you put down your choices...
