When does Pensacola switch from whites to blues? Here in Norfolk they're doing on Oct. 18th.

I'm reporting the first week of November and want to know which uniform I should have ready. Ok...you should always have them both ready, but who really does? I think I can still squeeze some vodka and redbull out of my blues from Mardi Gras this year.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know.

The switch is usually in December sometime. Keep in mind that you are safe wearing your blues ANY time of year...

Yeah, I know. I checked into my first ship in my blues in August. They made me stand at attention on the quarterdeck while I waited for the CDO to come get me. Nice welcome to the SWO community, huh? And people ask me why on earth I want to be in aviation...go figure.
