SWO Life

Hey everyone, I realize that this website is primarily for aviators, but I was wondering what an average day would be like for a SWO. I was just accepted for BDCP, and since commission is my first priority, I took a SWO position. I want to know what I'm getting into.

Honestly, don't even ask here. Stick to usnavyocs.com and ping SailorBob, maybe they'll let you in...

You can learn a lot about SWO specifications and such online...just cruise around the web, there's a plethora of information out there, all you have to do is look for it.

If you aspire to one day command your own ship, you'll be happy w/ your decision.

Still, do future applicants the favor of posting your stats on the stats page to show them how it's done. Congratulations all the same; getting into SWO BDCP is tough.

Ditto. Steve's the man when it comes to SWO matters on this site.
