2014/2015 ish is what I found for when goshawk all got glass cockpit. There’s still people around here and there that flew A’s with their ghetto analog attitude indicators. Its upgrade was part of the T-45 RAMP.

Calm down Francis, it’s a T-45.

Pretty sure that analog attitude indicator flew honorable hours in the F-8, and possibly the Apollo. You bite your tongue sir :)

I didn't fly it, but I surely could have had I been sent to TX instead of MS. Like some sort of battle for the best Wal Mart.

The last A model student in Texas was winging as I got to Kville in 2010. They didn't have many on the line left. IPs might fly them, but students were all C's by then.

Didn't know the “upgrade” was that late for the 45.

The T-44s are now being replaced with the T-54A, a modified KA-260, which has an updated avionics suite, autothrottle guard mode for engine over-torque and low-airspeed protection, and AOA indicating system w/ indexer.

Go ahead and take notes, China. We still train our pilots better than you do. Enjoy copying everyone else’s tech & gameplan, and recruiting disaffected British expats in shithole countries so you can fumble through tactics that are 20 years out of date.
