TAD Fit Rep

I just got down to Pcola for API and heard a rumor from a friend that I need a fit rep from the recruiting office that I TAD at this past summer. I didnt even think about it seeing as all the guys who work in the office are E-5 or below and I was only there for 2 months. Anyone else in the same boat and know anything about this?

Thanks,

A

If you don't already have a fit-rep from another command that encompasses the dates you worked at the recruiting station, then you will need one.

Hope it helps,
Bubba

ok thanks bubba,

how exactly would I get it filled out seeing as all the guys in the office were enlisted? Would they fill out a fit rep on an officer or what?

thanks for the help all, bit confused.

If your PCS orders sent you from your NROTC unit to P'cola then your NROTC unit should provide you with a fitrep covering the time from your commissioning to showing upto API.

The recruiting office works for a NRD. The NRD could write a concurrent fitrep if they desire. Your parent unit has to write any required fitrep. If it was an enroute TAD and the NRD did not give you a fitrep, the next unit you check into will include that period in the fitrep they write. It will probably be a "Not Observed" fitrep.

An enlisted guy would never complete a fitrep for an officer.

He may not be at the same location but the enlisted guys work for an officer. He or she is your man or women for the fitrep or PIM I don’t remember what PIM stands for but it's something you get in lieu of a FITREP. I can tell you this you don't want to be trying to fix a gap 8 years from now.

I was stashed twice at NRD San Dog I just got a PIM (Performance Information Memorandum). Its just a report from the CO saying you did a job well done and would make a fine addition to any wardroom, etc. Get this before you detach from that command. Ask the OPO (Officer Programs Officer) or the officer you were working with. You give the original to flight mgmt at NASC and keep a copy for yourself.
