Kind of weird that the AF guy is initiating the post about Hook.

Went last year and this year. The Friday party was good and ran into a bunch of Navy/Marine folks I know.

Dos Gringos played for 3 hours and it was a great time. The lead singer is pretty charismatic and kept the crowd engaged. A bunch of the Lemoore squadrons were there and I think there was a lot of "recovering" happening the next morning, based on the fun I witnessed.

The USAF really needs to do something like this. It's pretty unique.

Hah were you the one in the orange U-2 shit hot on Friday? Totally did not put 2+2 together that you'd be there, otherwise I would have said hi. Dos gringos was cool

I was there, courtesy of my employer... spent 12 hours on the floor Thursday and Friday, and about 8 hours on Saturday. Flew home and passed out on Sunday. Did not see Dos Gringos.

Where were you jokers?

I was there for a TSW event on Friday, so I didn't spend a whole lotta time on the floor this year. I also had a personal goal of not collecting any schwag and ditching my schwag bag at the first opportunity. Mostly succeeded, but I did need to get this year's 100k tons of diplomacy t shirt. And a couple 4 color bic pens of course :)

That was my swag plan too. Being right next to HII helped with the shirt.

As an exhibitor, I didn't even get a chance to turn down my 100th free backpack- they don't waste them on us.

MIDNJAC,
If you're referring to the guy who sang "Dead or Alive" with Dos Gringos, that was Mountain and he was in the U-2 party suit.

He's also one of the investors in Winglore Whiskey, which was sponsoring the concert.

Brett,

You really should put your band together and play Hook '26.

Based on the Rush I heard you play, y'all would be great!
