Ok, I realize this won't generate much conversation but wanted to share...if true and recent it kind of puts a dent in the anti-war protestors assertions. Also, just interesting to find something so vital to US policy right now on a side link...and not the front page at CNN...

Taiwan..nothing? something?

I haven't looked for a related thread, so I'm posting this here...I read somewhere today that we just posted a military attache to Taiwan for like the first time in 35 years...is this a result of some kind of increasing tension, posturing--like sending some low-level signal to the Chinese, or just business as usual? Not looking for anything really, just got me wondering...
