I just wanted to post up a big thanks to those who have dedicated to the site. I think that the vast quantity of information gathered and put up for those of us seeking the info really helped with my results. I haven't seen the test results myself, but my MOI told me I got 8-9-8 :D
Thanks again all!

Well I have over 2200 hours as aircrew already so I would hope I have a better then average (for non-pilot) understanding of aviation.

Due to the government,I feel over-stimulated.
I'll second that...

I just took the Form 3 test and got 8/9/9 62 - my first and last time for the ASTB. Thanks for all the help here on the forum!
I brushed up on the basics of the subject material, maybe 3-4 hours over the last couple months, but the thing I feel helped the most was every couple weeks I would sit down and do the practice exams in the ARCO book-timed and all. By the time I got to the real test it felt like the same old drill and I was totally comfortable. It's like an old triathlon adage says: train the same way you're going to race.

If you've been out of school for a while like I am, or suck at mechanical like me, these sites were good sources to get up to speed for the exam.

Math: http://www.math.com/homeworkhelp/Algebra.html
Mech: http://science.howstuffworks.com/hydraulic1.htm (also has links to gears and pulleys)

Best of luck to those preparing!

ASTB Scores

How long does it take to get ASTB scores? And can you request them yourself or do you have to go through your OSO? I took the ASTB on 31 Jan. I also sent an email request to get them sent to my school email address.

I don't have the slightest clue what my ASTB scores were. Is there anyway to get them now and see how I did?

Hey KSUFLY,
I asked the same question in another thread and was told to e-mail: jeanmoore@nomi.med.navy.mil Be sure to to write from a .edu/.mil e-mail address and to include your social security #. I got a response in a few days (after waiting 3-4 weeks from test date).

thats the same email address that I used back in the summer of 2004 to get mine. I had some sort of problem with getting my scores for whatever reason and after 5 weeks of not knowing them, I email that address and asked that they be sent to the recruiter (I didnt want to appear to be going behind backs or anyhting). Later on that afternoon I got the call with my scores.
