Depends. Some of the people who were picked up at the December 2012 board reported to OCS for the January 27th class. If I'm not mistaken, there may even have been a few that were put into the Jan 6 class. Considering that most people heard around the middle of December (I heard on the 14th), it was not a lot of heads-up. But it varies. There's generally less of a wait if an applicant is pushing up against the age limit, for example.

That's a good point. This other guy in my command who was selected with me has flat foot. Now he's had to wait for consultations to make sure that it will not affect him even though he's had no effect since he's been in the Navy.
