This is the "normal" schedule, and assumes that you don't roll, fail anything, get sick/med downed, everything runs smoothly (never happens), the weather is good (it has thunderstormed every day for like 3 weeks straight in Pcola) random acts of God don't occur (like the Helo dunker breaking for 3 weeks)... so you are likely to hit a snag at some point one way or another.
OCS: 12 weeks
~some indeterminate amount of time of OHARP between 1 and 3+ months~
Move to Pcola
~another period of indeterminate amount of time waiting to class up for IFS~
IFS Ground school: 2 weeks
IFS flight school: I've seen it done in as few as 12 days, and as long as 6 weeks
~another period of indeterminate amount of time waiting to class up for API~
API: 6 weeks
Move to Whiting or Corpus
~another period of indeterminate amount of time waiting to class up for Primary~
Primary: 28 weeks... probably... maybe... ehhh...
To be honest, you probably have a better chance of picking the Powerball numbers next week than putting a hard date on how long it will take you to get through flight school.
For perspective: I reported for OCS on 11 Sept 2016, and right around 11 Sept 2017 I will be having my first flight in the T-6. From what I understand that is on the quicker side of things.
