Ulcerative Colitis maybe pass...

I know this question has been asked before, but I wanted a little more info. If I have ulcerative colitis (not severe, slowly coming off all medication) will I be stopped at the recruitment gate or is there any chance I could get by ?
Other than this problem I have no other ailments and I hear from some AF people that it is possible under certain circumstances to join the services.

I think this condition is medically disqualifying. It is for Naval aviation at least.
