Uniform question

A friend posed a question to me which stumped me. If you're in BDCP, are you allowed to wear the Naval uniform of an unrated E3 if you need to go on base for something like an annual physical? You are active duty...???

Why would you want to? (by the way there is no annual physical in BDCP).

I thought every day was casual Friday in the Navy? BTW it seems like every office you try to get a hold of in the Navy and government for that matter treats everyday like it's Friday afternoon.

You are not permitted to wear a uniform while you are in the BDCP program. It is stated right on the contract.
