Greetings All,
I just completed TBS a few months ago and am currently waiting to attend communication officer school. However, I have always been interested in becoming a naval aviator. Unfortunately, flight physical did not get cleared on time so I joined the Corps as a ground contract. The field accession is an option, where I'd have the opportunity to lateral transfer to fly in the Corps, however it is very competitive (10% selection rate, 2 gets selected each year).
Is there a way for me to transfer to the Navy in order to fly, being a Marine Corps Com'O to becoming an SNA in the Navy? Possibly, inter-service transfer? I already passed the ASTB with 6/7/6 54 and flight physical.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
