Dear Forum members
I thought you may be interested to know that I have begun compiling the ejections that took place from Carriers.
I have just uploaded the first draft of the USS America.
Although my website is primarily concerning ejections and bail-outs I have found it increasing necessary to list all known losses and then ascertain which ones included ejections - successful or not.
It probably comes as no surprise that the largest amount of data readily available is from the Vietnam period. There are a whole library of books on the subject and more importantly many of the original aircrews are still able to be contacted.
Please view my webpage at
http://www.ejection-history.org.uk/CARRIERS/USS_AMERICA/uss_america.htm
and let me know your thoughts.
If you can add or amend any details I'd be grateful.
I know I'm I'm missing a lot of Pre and Post Vietnam ejections
In preparation are the other Vietnam era carriers.
Thanks for reading this letter and I hope that you will find the website of interest.
With respect
