Well, shit. Guess it was bound to happen sometime. Christ, I am so disconnected from the Grapevine here on the Redneck Riviera. My old squadron puts a plane in the dirt and I find out about it on AW?

It happened right after I landed last night. I knew that there was an emergency E-2 approaching, I cleared the runway and before I got to LP-1, it was all over. Very happy to see them running away from the plane. Good friends and good pilots involved. Hope to see them flying again soon!

They details are difficult to present in a format that the normal joe can digest... Let's just say that the news release gives descriptive details, but not the details.
