Waiting period for reconsideration of Application

I was wondering if any of you know why there is now a 6 month waiting period before you may resubmit your application for reconsideration?

I know you can resubmit as soon as you have a "significant" change to your application (i.e. new ASTB scores, GPA change, etc.). Are you still in school? If so, how were your grades this past semester? If you are out of school or didn't improve your grades, I suggest retaking the ASTB (if you feel you can improve), then resubmit.

I thought 6 months has always been the minimum time to reapply without any improvement. Might be wrong...

If that's really true, it's a new thing. I had people in my class who applied five or six times and I don't think it took them three years. Was that from your recruiter?

not a new law just not monitored as tightly as it is now. you must have significant change. The folks that applied four or five times may have done something significant or changed designator choices. A NEW LOR IS NOT SIGNIFICANT. there are tricks a recruiter can use to get around this for sure but it take effort on the recruiters part. AND GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.
