What NRC considers competitive

I used the Kyle and Gomez drive that I found here and followed information that I found on Reddit from people that got really high scores.

ASTB Prep App and using the jantzen ASTB simulator with a X52 Hotas that I bought used on Ebay. 3 months of day-in/day-out practice. I went into my third try very confident I would do well. I also did a ridiculous amount of Terrain ID/UAV questions on the ASTB Prep app.

I would try submitting with your current scores, they're pretty good, if you get denied then consider a retake. Depending on if this was your first or second try. Your major, GPA, and ASTB scores are pretty solid I feel like you have a very good shot at getting picked up. Personally, I wouldn't advise taking the ASTB again and risking a lower score (I like to play it safe). If you took it again and scored lower, it would only make you go "what-if" if you just submitted with your current score. Take it again if you don't get picked up with your current package.
You are correct, I am being paranoid for no reason. I will try at least once with these scores

How did you get this score, this is really good.

I got 66 8/6/7, I am thinking of retaking it but my recruiter says to not touch these scores.

I am a CS Major, With a GPA of 3.95
Do you think I have a good shot for a SNA Designator?
A PFAR of 6 is low and if it is a competitive board you probably won't be selected as historically 6's don't, now if you don't have time to retake give it a shot while studying for a retake.

If your recruiter puts you down for SNA and SNFO you will probably get picked for SNFO. Just make sure you are clear that you only want to be submitted for SNA.

Aren't all boards competitive?
I will try with these scores for one board and if not selected for SNA, I will retake the test and hopefully get all 7's for the immediate select

No, there have been boards with a very high selection rate and ones with a very low selection rate, it just varies based on the number of people that apply.
