I know that mileage will vary due to needs of the Navy, but when you "pick" a platform, what is the usual classroom demographics? What percent gets fixed wing, helos, Jets, turboprop, etc?

Oh boy...what's my percentage questions...
Look: By 2012, Naval Aviation is "supposed" to be broken down as follows:
59-60% Helos
20-25% Jets
15-20% Multiengine
It's based on 254 different factors, ranging from eye color to grades...you never know and timing is everything.
I think I've just summed up about 2000 posts from this forum in the above stats. The rest is PFM.
Good luck, Fly safe, but most importantly Fly Navy, no matter what you pick or what picks you.
