I am selecting soon , and I’d like to know why does ask if your married during primary selection. It’s on the selection sheet.

I’m assuming if the spouse is at the selection, the CO can address him/her properly. As a former Plans & Production Officer in a training squadron, it has nothing to do with selection or placement.

And I was going to say that the CO had a couple of ugly daughters!
It could also be a factor regarding orders... making sure you get the right entitlements for your PCS (if req'd).

Out of NIFE, yes, maybe. But not out of Primary.
