What does the orange highlight mean for certain names on the spreadsheet?

Edit: Think I answered my own question. Looks like it's the folks who are ISPP.
Yeah that was me who went in there and did that, got annoyed with not being able to see right away who is ISPP. Feel like us civilians would like to see how many spots are getting snagged ? if anyone has any better ideas to show it feel free to change it. Figured the orange would be easiest

These types of threads have gotta be the only place where people celebrate going to that godforsaken place lol. Huge congrats though man I know how you feel, I waited about 8 months to go after gathering medical records that were about the same age I am. Have tons of fun (lol) !
hahaha... I have not been MEPS but I am curious after this celebration it makes me want to go to it sooner than later.

I'm slowly dying over here waiting for the end of October. Really kicking myself for not being able to get my packet in for May. I had to retake the ASTB because I had a 6 for one of the sections (can't remember which.) I took the ASTB at a recruiters office and there was construction going on in the building and I could hear the recruiters outside talking and laughing, not to mention one of them walked in in the middle of my test. It was a less than ideal testing environment. Anyway, just wanted to bitch a little bit. Hope y'all have a great day!
I would have been in for May if it wasn't for MEPS wanting paperwork from a broken shoulder at 14, im 23 now lol, and by the looks of it I think I would have had a good shot at getting picked up in May. Also, sounds like a horrible place to take the ASTB, I took it on a Saturday morning with just my OR in the office and I'm almost positive the entire building itself was empty except for us on the top floor. ?

FY 24 starts at the end of Calendar year 23 though, so if we're selected in ~ December, we could get an OCS date for EOY 2023. But yeah I know what you mean, it's a long wait either way.
Might need an AD guy or @exNavyOffRec to confirm but I'm pretty sure FY 24 starts October 1st 2023 and goes till September 30th 2024.

And since the FY part of OCS is dependent on when you commission at the end of OCS NOT when you get there, a FY 24 OCS date could be as early as late July '23.

And that's the perfect mindset to be in, man. This stuff doesn't happen overnight. If anyone thinks that the path to the cockpit of a military plane is quick and seamless... it's not, quite the opposite actually. As they say, "Blood, sweat, and tears". I've personally only seen the tip of the iceberg with this application process. And I know from being on this forum and doing my own research, it will take a decent amount time and perseverance to get to the finish line and be assigned to my first squadron. That's years down the road. It will take commitment and patience. But, like you said, if this really is something that you TRULY want and are destined for, you'll dig deep down and do whatever it takes until you are either told not to apply anymore or you finally get those gold wings pinned to your chest.

There's a quote from Harvey Mackay that I really like to look at from time to time....

“When you have a dream that you can’t let go of, trust your instincts and pursue it. But remember: Real dreams take work, They take patience, and sometimes they require you to dig down very deep. Be sure you’re willing to do that.”
Im gonna take that quote as my daily reminder that this is going to take time and nothing but hard work, gotta always dig deep when things get tough.

Is someone rearranging the spreadsheet? The other day it was PFAR high to low, today it’s OAR high to low ?

How are you guys organizing your "Applicant's Remarks" on your APSRs?
I have a boatload of volunteer hours, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

I have them down like:
Eagle Scout Award from Troop XXX of XXX, NJ - 2012
XXX Radio Volunteer Radio DJ - 2012-2014
Program Director and Volunteer Radio DJ at XXX FM - 2014-2016
Food Bank Volunteer at XXX Church in XXX, NJ - May 2022 to Present
Meals on Wheels Driver in XXX, NJ - July 2022 to Present

I was told by my recruiter that we aren’t supposed to put anything on the Applicants remarks page… I also have volunteer hours I would love to put down but he said I couldn’t put down any extracurricular activities other than the 2 slots on the form

Took the ASTB today. 56 7/7/7. I have time to retake before the 16 Sept deadline. Tossing it over, but thoughts?
