I wanted to post this to let people know that if this is something you want badly enough, you can do it with hard work. Again, this forum is invaluable. Hey! Im taking the ASTB for the second time next week. My first time was in January (666). Do you remember any math/physics subjects that you got? Thanks!

Probably unique to me, but the ASTB testing system crashed out in the middle of my test today 3/14/2025. Got through the OAR and through the NATFI and then it crashed. My recruiter reassured me I am not going to have to retake the sections I completed, but I have to come back in on Monday to finish the PBM portions. Caution to anyone taking today (if you are taking today, did this happen to you?), and perhaps next week.

I'm sure they'll get it figured out by then just sending out the news and curious if this happened to anyone else!

No worries at all, I felt the worst for the guy who drove 2 hours to take it after me and probably wont get to, and also my recruiter who has to spend a Friday looking into it lol. more time to practice navigation and stick + throttle I suppose!

Happened to me on my first take last year too, seems to happen a decent amount from what I researched and experienced.

I took it today and mine got stuck loading between questions and sections of the PBM 15-20 times. Through it all I didn't lose any answers or progress though which was nice.

Yeah the test has crashed numerous times for me during my first and second attempt. Whatever system they use to administer the test is definitely outdated.

Mine got stuck on terrain ID for a while, we couldn’t figure it out and finally finished

Hello all, I am planning to buy the Logitech X52 from Amazon ($159) to practice for the Cockpit Sim. Is it possible (if so, how?) to connect the X52 stick and throttle to the Jantzen io flight practice for my computer? I have an Apple Macbook.
