For real, in the TW-6 sim building, they’re emphasizing the ban bc some student/s is/have been spitting the used pouches into the urinals. Definition of doing it to yourselves (and every other responsible user).
The amount of Zyn patches for NIFE classes will be egregious in its own right!Secondhand source says Skywarrior found zyn pouches in a plane? Either someone actually did something egregious or it’s more NASC tyranny. Flightsuit Friday patches are gonna be Zyn themed for months.
Zyns are gross. It is a silly affection not nearly as bad as the stupidity of vaping but close.
Recommendation…To be fair, as a once long-time dipping tobacco user (in the jet and otherwise), it has been a good transition for me. That being said, folks who just jumped on the bandwagon having not used tobacco/nicotine products before but thought this was the cool thing to do, I just wish I could have told them "don't do it". Would love to fully quit. But in the meantime, my teeth/gumline has appreciated the zyns.

BTW I despise the smell and debris from dipping, got that from school where it was ubiquitous and disgusting with built in spittoons in the walkways of our barracks...nothing personal @MIDNJAC but that shit is nasty.
Reminds me of the guys who would dip in the jet while flying - and use the relief tube to spit into (!)It is disgusting
Along the same lines as a reservist IP I had as a SNA in VT-6 that would smoke in the rear cockpit while I was flying Course Rules back to NSE!Reminds me of the guys who would dip in the jet while flying - and use the relief tube to spit into (!)
More than once, a different guy would need to use it later on and find out 'mid-stream' that the tube was blocked by debris - and end up sitting there with a full funnel....
When I went through, it was starting to get popular. Hell even in the squadrons, zyn is everywhere.. or Loops if you can find them. I personally quit a long time ago when I went through SERE. Decided since I had gone a week and some change without it, might as well keep the clean train going. I quit because it was expensive as all hell and I hated being reliant on it. The wife is a lot happier too!How many studs nowadays use Zyn or dip? Back in the dark ages when I went through very few guys smoked though a small but not insignificant percentage dipped from occasionally to often, maybe ~20% (?), but tobacco of all kinds wasn't anywhere near as common as it had been even just 10 years before.
