Can anyone provide some insight to the state of supply right now? Also, can anyone confirm that they’re taking autoqual applications based on set criteria of GPA and OAR scores right now?

I was previously an SNA select but DQ’d for eye probs, and now heavily considering the supply community.

Supply boards have been less competitive than in the past, hence the auto-qual process.

I have been selected for Supply and I ship out for RI next month, just curious if I could get some information from the community. Can any SuppOs give me insight into sub life? Which has a solid deployment rotation, SSBNs, SSGNs or SSNs? I don’t mind deploying at all, just curious if there’s any that offer a stable rotation/schedule? Also, if allowed to mention what are some of the good locations? My wife and I would love Kings Bay, Hawaii or Japan, but I’m curious if there’s any other unknowns or not mentioned oftens? Any and all insight is welcomed and appreciated!! Beyond excited to join the Supply community.

FYI you’re going to get a fire hose of this at supply corps school, including networking with various Chops before submitting dream sheets.

Thanks for the info. Wanted to see if I could get any gouge beforehand, especially since the wife and I want to have an idea of what I should aim for.

Can someone comment on the time period between graduating OCS and starting supply school. I know there is no exact time period but wanted to get an idea from supply officers who have been through the pipeline. Thanks

Your officer recruiter, assuming you're working with one, might have some OHARP Ensigns awaiting Supply Corps school. That's a way to leverage your resources.

I asked. I am his first OCS candidate. Still have not gotten orders - recruiter has left about 15 messages for detailer with no response. Took PRT today was told I would come back up probably next week to swear. Hopefully get them next week - class start in 3 weeks

There are other recruiters in his office that he could ask. Or ask his department head, they usually track/corral all the baby ensigns.
By the way, since you're going to OCS, recruiters don't work with detailers. You get basic orders to OCS and assuming you graduate, will then get orders to Supply Corps School. From there you'll pick your first Supply job and get orders from there.

I understand each recruiting office is different. I have not received OCS package as of yet. The recruiter was reaching out to detailer to see why I have received nothing- not even basic orders to OCS as of today

It depends how full the supply school is. When I graduated Nov, they only had 4 slots for the January class so I classed up in April, and was Oharping between Nov and april
