1,001 questions about the ASTB (post your scores & ask your questions here!)

I qualify for most except for gpa ( it’s 3.11) and I’ll be taking the OAR in 3 weeks. Not sure if I’ll qualify because of that. Also, can I even ask my recruiter to still send my package out despite it being closed or should I wait?

I just took my ASTB for the third and final time. I studied really hard for it and I got for my OAR 46, AQR 6, PFAR 7, FOFAR 5 and LPSS 56. Are these good scores for Naval OCS and Student Naval Aviator? I was told I qualified for SNA and NFO but not immediate selection. But are these considered good scores and with a Degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Drone Engineering with a CGPA of 3.0. Any thoughts and opinions would be great.

Head over to this thread: https://www.airwarriors.com/community/threads/15-sep2025-sna-snfo-board.51124/. There’s a google doc that has a bunch of current/previous applicant scores and you can begin to compare yourself on there

Hey guys I just talked to my recruiter today and he said that I can't really go for any board now until I graduate (makes sense) and then go for the board in January. I was going of retaking my ASTB since I got a 48 5/7/6. But I was wondering if I should take it around December since I am in my last semester and I want to focus on school, or to do it in a month. Also I was wondering if anyone can give me some tips on what they did differently to study on their second attempt.

If you look around people have been sent to board up to a year prior to graduation, those over a year before graduation will get submitted for BDCP in the designator they are applying for.
