15 SEP2025 SNA/SNFO BOARD

From a recruiter standpoint the ones DQ by NAMI from my district while at OCS were often due to depth perception, nearly all were ones who didn't pass DP at MEPS, then would find a civilian doc to administer a DP test, passed, and submitted those results to go to board for SNA.
I was DQ by NAMI for SNA due to depth perception, even though I didn't apply for SNA just SNFO. They don't play with depth perception over there.

This actually worries me cuz this happened to me. The machine at meps basically just sucks is what I’ve been told. The way I remember it there were like 20 numbers with rings next to em and one would jump out. And they’d get progressively more difficult. I could do the whole sheet at the one at meps except for number 5 but they just wouldn’t let me skip that one and come back to it. When I went to an eye doctor I passed flawlessly.
If you’re talking about the depth perception test, which sounds like it, I had the same problem. I Could tell them every line down to 30 arc seconds except line 5. I asked if it was a trick and the nurse said "you passed." Course he didn’t tell me I passed for Aviation standards. Just that, it was enough. Later I was dq'd. Ended up missing the May boards. All this bs happens just for me to go to my eye doc and tell me I have normal depth perception.....bruh.

Yeah I guess MEPS is notorious for handing out botched testing for depth perception
