How would you describe your level of skill/expertise between the first two you were paddles and the last time?
I only owned and wore long sleeve wash khakis on the ship when on duty…was there short sleeve?

For the record, I have never worn any other uniform than flight suit on the boat that I can recall. I think I brought them on my first deployment, didn't need them, and never brought them on the boat again after that. I also bought those stupid blueberries, never wore them once, but I still have them if anyone wants some

Wash khakis were canceled in 2010, IIRC. CAG-5 squadrons, or at least we helo nerds, were wearing them for boat SDO. Once canceled, we convinced our front office to let us wear desert flight suits.Sorry guys, misspeak. As others noted, I meant to say "wash khakis"

I also bought the blueberries, and I think wore them once for a Boat O watch in Thailand.
Such a waste.
Similar. Think I wore wash khakis once or twice on nugget cruise circa 2004. Blueberries once as a hinge for in-port CVW duty officer. I wore Dickies and a jersey from time to time as CAG paddles, typically if I'd missed a flight suite wash day, and as a skipper I wore Dickies and squadron t-shirt from time to time - though on that particular cruise we had A LOT of relaxed grooming standards and dress-codes so there was a lot of choose-your-own-adventure with "uniform" items.

I guess. I only bought one set of whites and khakis after I commissioned. And I think the whites were terribly tailored.
Gotcha. Yeah, I never wore those after my 2/c MIDN cruise (in the late 90's).
Commissioned in 2010. Wore blueberries during OCS, rarely ever again. Maybe once or twice for Boat SDO but our senior watch officer got the front office to bite on opposite color bags. Never had wash khakis, only the CNT/Polywool crap. Wore them as an SNA for SDO in VTs, HTs, FRS, and fleet squadron ashore. After that, maybe a few times in DC to go to the Pentagon since we worked at an out-site. There it was bags or Type 3s, I was the only Navy and the Army COL we worked for wore Multicam and DGAF.
Type 3s I avoided until I went to Bahrain, now I actually like them. Once broken in they are pretty functional and comfortable. The jacket situation sucks though.

The service will also conduct a flyover by Navy and Marine Corps aircraft during that time.
Oct. 8, 12-4 p.m.: The Innovation Pavilion in Philadelphia is offering an overview of small business opportunities within the maritime industrial base.
Oct. 9-16: The public is invited to visit and tour historic Navy vessels from the American Revolution, including the battleship New Jersey, the cruiser Olympia, WWII-era submarine Becuna, and a replica of Washington’s Crossing boat. Tours will be offered at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia and at Camden Waterfront in Camden, New Jersey.
Oct. 10-15: The public is also invited to tour eight visiting Navy vessels and two visiting Coast Guard cutters in Philadelphia and Camden.
Oct. 11-13: Navy and Marine Corps aircraft will fly from Camden up the Delaware River, through South Jersey to the Philadelphia riverfront. The flyover will take place at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. each day.

Actor and retired Marine Rob Riggle will speak at 6 p.m. EST during the Victory at Sea Concert, taking place at Independence Mall in Philadelphia, with performances by Patti LaBelle and the Elite Marine Corps Band.
Oct. 13, 11 a.m.: The Navy will host a celebratory parade in downtown Philadelphia, with marching bands, military vehicles, floats and youth service recognition. The ceremony will conclude at 2:30 p.m. at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, with a Blue Angels flyover, music and remarks from military and civic leaders. At 6 p.m. EST, fireworks will launch over historic Navy and Coast Guard ships along the Delaware River to wrap things up.

Good thing they recognized that the only thing that would look worse than a bunch of Soldiers who are not part of the Old Guard marching would be a bunch of Sailors who are not part of the Ceremonial Guard marching.
It's happened. I've mentioned this before, but the FBO at KPBI didn't get paid for years after a section of RAN Romeos came through needing gas. Apparently no one at -299 realized that FBOs don't take identiplates. Oops.
