OCS SWO Immediate Select Timeline

Hi,

I’m currently about two weeks since submitting my SWO Immediate Select package. I qualified for all the prerequisites and have successfully submitted my application. I wanted to follow up to see if there is a typical timeline for hearing back, as my recruiter mentioned that the turnaround can be highly variable. I haven’t seen too much information regarding this process (i.e., the formalities, timing, next steps, etc.), and would appreciate any guidance.

Your recruiter is right. It varies by person.

With that said, please take the time to browse the forums - particularly the SWO OCS and Immediate Select (ISEL) board threads. You will find tons of posts and info from similar applicants who have been in your shoes. Similarly, please use the search function - odds are your question (like this one) has been asked and answered before.
