01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

My recruiter told me that the board has not been completed for NFO/SNA, and that I’ve only received an approved status for NFO and SNA is still “In Session”. I have NOT received a memo or any additional documentation for NFO.

Does this leave the possibility of SNA open, or do you suspect I’m still SOL?

The selection part of the board is done in a day it is very quick, if they have not done the SNA's then that makes me think there were no quotas available or they were waiting for confirmation of quotas before they did anything with the SNA's.

In regards to ISEL the deal is you get one, I have not heard of anyone getting selected for ISEL for more than one designator.

If you wanted SNA your recruiter should have not had you put anything other than that.

Do you have any recommendations for how I should proceed if SNA is what I’m set on doing?

I wish I’d known putting NFO on my preferences sheet practically shot my chances of being looked at for pilot.

I was inadvertently selected for NFO, declined, and picked up for pilot my next board. If you have questions about the process (it's simple) feel free to reach out. With your scores, I have zero doubt you'd get pilot, it's just a matter of if you're willing to wait a little longer. I know you said you and your wife can't do so but it's really a small price to pay if it means being where you want to be for the next 10 years, and you being happier is obviously a good thing for your wife too haha.

Felt that. I was about to go to SWO until I learned my arts degree didn’t disqualify me for aviation, said fuck it and took the ASTB lol. Thank god for that
 
Since the last 4 boards got cancelled, is this board going to have 800+ applications. I looked at board statistics and saw that each Pilot board has around 200 ish applicants. This is assuming that This board also does not cancel.
Is this a right assumption to make?

Also is there anyone on here who can see the at board list. My recruiter has gone dead silent after I told him to submit my package to the June board.

Just curious - on the forum spreadsheet it says you’re already at board and got selected for SNA? It’s highlighted green so I’m just curious lol

My recruiter acknowledged my message so I assumed it was am at board but I need more conformation now?
I am very anxious
The color is different
I will change it now

I'd keep in mind that not every board gets to review every application, so if they meet their quotas the rest of the applications just get pushed to the next, or some get kicked back for reasons we don't know. This has been my case for the last 2 years. I may never know why, my recruiter doesn't know why. They seems to think there's an informal queue of applications and they're backlogged due to all the cancellations, but I'd take this with a grain of salt since no one really knows what/how things happen there.

I checked the latest board schedule
They have not reviewed Street SNA applicants since September 25, so lets hope this is the time they will do it

I don’t think at board lists come out until like after the board convenes or maybe a week before it, at least that was how the last board was
