The Navy can finally give us some sort of date and the damned thing still doesn’t mean anythingJust because a board date is listed on the schedule, doesn't mean it actually convenes on that date. It can convene before, on, or even after the date listed.
I’m actually at an LCAC command so this is pretty cool to readhttps://apps.dtic.mil/sti/tr/pdf/ADA320739.pdf
This link has a paper explaining what the whole process/reasoning was. There's a section talking about the LPSS score (Called LCSS in the paper).
FIFYI’ve learned that everyone from the recruiter to NRC can’t even accurately ballpark timelines for even individual steps.
ISEL packages from 4+ months ago are really going to hear back at the same time as the regular board lol
Edit: I know I complain a lot. Consider it proof I was a NUKEsubmariner![]()
Usually it’s y’all AD guys, no?I wonder who’s going to be the first to hear back
Gotcha. Thought you were still in. You had to do MEPS again within a year of getting out?I separated May 2025, applied as a regular ISEL applicant in February
Had to do MEPS a second time and everything (it was pretty weird)
Packets have to be at the board a month prior to the convening date for off the street applicants. Packets for the June 1st board were due in May.My recruiter just texted me today saying "unfortunately you did not make it this cycle". As an off the street applicant for SNA, it is my understanding that the boards have yet to convene for us folks/have been cancelled so far. I was wondering if anyone had some insights on my situation? I am also reaching out to my recruiter for clarification, but he isn't the most communicative. Thanks!
