01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

Hi everyone, long time lurker here. I sent my recruiter all the forms he requested in October of last year, after passing the ASTB and MEPS. He confirmed receiving the forms and submitted my application. Now this is partially my mistake, but I assumed everything went according to plan and now it's a waiting game. Then, in April 2026, a Navy Officer Processor reached out to me and had me send more forms, some I've previously done such as the motivational statement, and some were new. This follow up surprised me and had me thinking if there was something wrong or if my application had not been submitted yet.

My recruiter just texted me today saying "unfortunately you did not make it this cycle". As an off the street applicant for SNA, it is my understanding that the boards have yet to convene for us folks/have been cancelled so far. I was wondering if anyone had some insights on my situation? I am also reaching out to my recruiter for clarification, but he isn't the most communicative. Thanks!
Just got clarification from my recruiter. My application has been reviewed and I did not get accepted. Perhaps it was reviewed during the March board, but I'm not sure why the Officer Processor would reach out to me in April to send more application related forms. Still confused about that part.

That is bizarre, but it is true that you can reapply in November. Perhaps that is the reason why they asked you to fill out those forms again. Probably just didn't know that you weren't told, unless that was their job to tell you

found the post that did the calculation for turnaround time here

SNA/SNFO Stats (5 Boards):
Avg turnaround - 20.6 Days (2.9 weeks)
Longest turnaround - 29 Days (4.1 weeks) (15SEP2025 SNA/SNFO)
Shortest turnaround - 14 Days (2 weeks) (05MAY2025 SNA/SNFO)

But i'd still take it with a grain of salt and say anywhere around 2-8 weeks
Also the fact that May board took everyone and their mama but September took basically no one 💀

If we go with what is said on face value it could be he wants you to reapply and asked the processor to get updated forms from you.

What I have seen a few times is a recruiter forgot something and then tells the applicant they were "rejected" and to reapply.

To me the first is probably most likely as the next board is after the 6 month wait.

If your ASTB scores are less than 7 or maybe even 7 then you might consider studying to get a higher score, did you have any waivers that could have affected your application.

Just curious could someone explain how the rolling board works for i-select? I know the next pilot board isn’t til November, are i-sel candidates considered before then?
