Foreign Policy Shifts?

America won today:
  • The President gets to fire his heads of executive agencies
  • The Federal Reserve operates independent of political administrations
  • The 14th amendment means what it says
Count down to lame duck period: t minus 0

From Foreign Affairs:

Somehow that article manages to be an oversimplification of the situation, and a wordy word salad at the same time. Some concerns are valid though- the alignment of our enemies is a real concern, even if they aren't as monolithic as the article made it seem.

However, as a guy from KS, I'm not calling our countries political enemies "The Heartland". That's not cool, coastal elites. Not cool at all.

Related since it involves foreign policy...

One of his (Trump's) biggest hauls in 2025 came when an investment firm tied to the United Arab Emirates bought nearly half of the Trump family’s main crypto company, World Liberty Financial,...

In January 2025, days before Mr. Trump’s inauguration, an investment firm tied to the government of the U.A.E. bought a 49 percent stake in World Liberty...Soon the Emiratis struck a deal with the Trump administration — over the objections of some national security officials — for the export of valuable computer chips that power artificial intelligence.

But even as crypto has proven lucrative for the president, many traders and political followers who invested in Trump-branded projects have fared poorly. The market cap for the president’s memecoin reached a peak of nearly $15 billion before prices began to crater within days of its launch, recently veering below $400 million. World Liberty’s WLFI tokens have plummeted alongside them.

We live in interesting times.

To the tune of $600 Million USD (WLF). $1.4 Billion USD from all his cyrpto ventures with "no conflict of interest".

Hell will freeze over before China, Russia, and Iran form a partnership that can rival NATO.

Like, I get that the "progressive" narrative is that only white Christian men can be racist while they simultaneously carry the "white man's burden" water (which I guess makes Russia qualified), but in no world will China, Russia, and Iran ever put aside the fact that they'd prefer to wipe each other from existence. And least of all while China and Russia routinely have mini wars over border disputes in 2026 over no man's land territories that would equate to Canada invading parts of Montana and North Dakota.

Contributing, Putin isn't a communist and Xi is only "communist" in name but runs a fascist economy.

We should focus less on worrying about their alliance and more about how to incite costly conflict from which we can economically benefit.
