01JUN26 SNA/SNFO board

Im praying my 9 PFAR carries me to the promised land, pretty skeptical about my low gpa but hopefully it'll. Open to blunt honesty
Same, I have a 8 PFAR I’m hoping that helps with my low University GPA. I did take two semesters at the community college in aviation management to help bring my gpa up a little. I had a 4.0 in those two semesters. Does anyone else have flight hours??

I got picked up with 49 6/8/7, and a combined GPA of 3.30 from both degrees. PFAR was my standout score, I have some flying experience. Keep your foot on the gas, once you get selected, the wait will all be worth it!

I had a gpa of 2.56 in Engineering. Hopefully the fact that was a stem degree helps, but at this point really nothing I can do that rely on that PFAR

Both of my Degrees are non-STEM, for what it is worth, the gouge I got is that PFAR is the first big factor followed by AQR. I would guess that the nature of a STEM degree is taken into account; but I have no concrete situational awareness on that. I do know that half the battle is never self-eliminating. Your scores are aspirational, no matter the results for this board, do not stop. It took me about five years, I was sidelined from three boards, not given the time of day from the previous Navy Recruiter, didn't make the submission deadline for two boards, was TBNT'd from multiple guard/reserve squadrons, and was non-select twice before finally getting selected. It is all about how bad you want it.

First time I took it I got a 54/6/7/7 and submitted for the 15SEPT board, wasn't one of the 8 people picked up so I got my pilot license and retook and got a 66/9/8/8. I like to joke and tell people that I paid $20,000 for these ASTB scores lol, but up to about 90 hours now halfway through my instrument rating

I unfortunately cannot take the ASTB again. My third try I got a 41 5/8/5. The first two times my scores were horrible as an immature college kid thinking I was invincible to not having to study I was humbled real quick. So I went to community college to get some aviation experience. I was in check ride prep for PPL, the cost at my flight school for rental of the plane, fuel, and paying the instructor cost around 400 dollars per hour.
