I’m also orthodox, I go to a Greek parish. I’ll be at ocs in October, and I plan on going as many sundays as they’ll let me.Got the call yesterday, selected for Student Naval Aviator! I’m Serbian Orthodox, I know there aren’t a ton of us up in New England, are there services available for Orthodox Christians at OCS? Thank you!
They are required to let you attend religious services. I don’t remember if they had an orthodox service regularly, but I highly recommend going to services anyway. It’s the only place where you are “out of sight” of class team and people talk to you like a person. Also some services have good snacks. The LDS service always had the best snacks by far for what it’s worth.I’m also orthodox, I go to a Greek parish. I’ll be at ocs in October, and I plan on going as many sundays as they’ll let me.
There is one, not on training country, however. So you'll have a duty driver take you to the one in town; that's what my roommate did at least.I’m also orthodox, I go to a Greek parish. I’ll be at ocs in October, and I plan on going as many sundays as they’ll let me.
