Making Recruiting Great Again
Why would they skip an entire fiscal year?
Not a need to bring in DCOs.

Not sure, I’m just reiterating what was on the email. I hope the have more boards after this one.Normally NRC doesn't like to do that, most likely just a lower amount of selectees.
Missed out on the GWOT party! Where you been bro?Submitted a packet for the first time for this upcoming board. I am 40 years old, male, MBA, no prior service, work in corporate (not supply) with previous roles in government (legislative), currently volunteer with a 501c3, plenty of leadership experience.
Looks like the number of available slots and my age are very much not in my favor, not to mention the stiff competition! However I still have my fingers crossed.
Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences and insight. Best of luck to everyone who submitted!
Was much too focused on private sector opportunities, regretfully. But better late (and with more years of experience) than never!Missed out on the GWOT party! Where you been bro?
Yea its changed alot the quotas were a bit higher then. I got picked up in that groups the caveat being there was one board that year and it was for FY24 & FY25. It ebbs and flows so dont get discouraged.I was reading back in this thread and saw how 50 were selected at the end of FY24. It's hard not to feel discouraged with how tight selections have been the last few boards, especially as someone who is currently enlisted. I really hope things start to look better!
I know active duty results came out recently, maybe you're thinking of that?Anyone hear of results for FY26/27 selections? I heard they went out this week.
No I just received my congratulatory letter for DCO Supply Reserves FY26/FY27I know active duty results came out recently, maybe you're thinking of that?
