Not an IWC applicant - just lurking around. The first time I went to my OR, I was told that I wouldn't be able to get TS because I have immediate family who are still Chinese citizen/green card holders. Hopefully I can get Secret for Supply
Assuming that your OR told you this merely based on a conversation with you after learning of your background, your OR is wrong. There may be additional hoops to jump through, but there are plenty of people with TS//SCI who have immediate relatives with PRC citizenship (or have a combination of PRC citizenship/US Green Card). I've processed several for certain accesses in the past year alone.
If you're still interested in applying for an IWC designator, you may have better luck with a different OR. Of course, nothing is guaranteed, and your level of contact, etc., may very preclude you from a favorable adjudication.

Nothing yet. I believe we are waiting on big Navy to spin its gears still. I think the screening by Mrs. Hanlon will need to be done before orders are cut and things processed by NRC and posted to BOL. Could be wrong but its my guess.
I appreciate it. BOL has turned into my new sharepoint and checking it daily to see if anything has been posted. Lol

How does the results getting posted on BOL differ from it being accessible on sharepoint? How or why does that affect recruiters sharing the results with applicants?

BOL is a system AD folks have access too as a way to see the results. They 'should' be there after NRC/RTC processes the selection with the Community managers. Honestly, its really just an extra place to check tbh. Normally, AD folks utilize their commands Officer Program Coordinator not a Officer Recruiter or they are SOL and do it all by hand with no guidance. That smoke and mirrors bs for AD is part of the initial 'weeding out' process to see who will go the extra mile to apply.
TLDR BOL is just another place that results get spit out too. The recruiters have a similar system that is privileged access. The other member just asked if other AD folks have seen anything yet.

I did some searching on my own and it also seems to be that Sharepoint is more of an internal records keeping vs BOL being used for things that will get broadcasted out. That being said, everything you said is still new info to me as a civilian so thanks for sharing regardless.

No worries a lot of the systems are redundant and pull from the same source or not its all kind of like a magic eight ball really.

That second add in makes a lot of sense now actually. We use sharepoint/teams and of course have dedicated channels to specific teams as well so now that actually makes a lot of sense as to why only some would be able to see it this early compared to BOL
