How can i get my pushups improved i gas out at about 30 and then i struggle to a good low 40-45

For OHARP, is the 50‑mile radius measured from your assigned recruiter’s office, or just any recruiting office near your hometown? My original recruiter retired, so I had to find another recruiter who is roughly 180 miles away. However, there’s an officer recruiting office in my hometown within about 10 miles. I’ve tried searching other forums, but I haven’t found any answers specific to this situation. Does the radius apply to any nearby recruiting office, or only the one you’re officially assigned to?

I saw people get assigned OHARP to where their spouse lived and to where their parents moved after the person joined the USN.

There’s flexibility in terms of location (home of record, spouse/family location, etc.) but it has to be nearby an officer recruiting station. If you’re wanting to do OHARP in say far west Kansas (for example), that will not be approved.

As both said above, there's flexibility.

Unless something has changed, OHARP orders are assigned to a region and all the states that are comprised within that region. As long as your orders have the correct region, you can OHARP at any of the officer recruiting commands within.

Oh, perfect, thank you for explaining! I’m not banking on it or anything. I’m hoping there won’t be a gap between OCS and school, but hey, it’s the military, lol. My home of record has an officer recruiting office, so I was just curious about how much flexibility there might be. Thank you again for your response!

I will say her date is for OCT03 and mine is JAN23, so I was assuming it may be to late, but we were wanting to look into it anyways. Would anyone happen to have more info about how that works? What should I prepare? Would we need medals? Stardard or Mini, both? Are thin ribbons authorized? What about warfare devices and the post-recruiting cookie?

School and housing. 🫩️
We just learned that we need to have our own lodging after OCS. At what point are we authorized to look for a place to stay/live for the school period? (Supply and IP) No dependants.

#1 has been asked and answered quite a bit here. You also ought to start checking out the otc Newport website, it gives a run down on what prior service folks should bring.

#2 Is going to be after OCS. You will be given ample time and even TAD opportunities before you start training. This isn’t RTC to A school in which you’re thrown in a bus or plane within hours.
